i've been having weird problems with firefox lately...
when I click on a link that opens in a new window, sometimes the page won't load, and if it does manage to load...the address isn't displayed in the address bar...

some tites that redirect, like gmail.com, it won't finish loading, unless I go to tools > options, then it will load, with out me even changing anything...

weird eh?

maybe it's your internet connection. I have never read about such a problem.

I thought Id chime in with other problems that Ive had with firefox.

a) ebay seems to crash it a lot. :(
b) middle-mouse-clicking in an XML preview freezes the mouse scroll cursor and de-formats the XML (shows it as HTML).
c) using the back button on certain pages shows the page slightly differently. A refresh shows it "normal"

... and... other problems that are starting to piss me off about it :P

thought id bring this old thread back to life...

ive run into problems using setInterval with firefox. basically im using setInterval on the preloader and right when it clears the interval it totally reloads the entire site (from _level0 to _levelWhatever) and gets stuck in an animation loop between the preloader ending and the actual content animating in... anyone else find this bug? ive also noticed the xhtml doc type will mess stuff up in FF... the only way ive found to correct this problem is to erase the doc type or convert everything to html....

im starting to lose faith in FF now...

So either you stop checkin out them sites or use a differnet browser to do it with. ;)

XHTML doctype causes things to be rendered in Strict mode, which is very different to quirks mode. And the problems with the flash plugin are very likely to be Macromedia's fault, and nothing to do with Firefox.
