I have a MP3 player that charges through the USB port. I'm going on vacation to China for a couple of weeks over Christmas, can I charge it on different voltage computers?

I would have thought almost certainly yes - my dad's bought USB things over the net from the US (in the UK we have a different power supply) and they worked fine..

Computers only come in two powers right? US uses one and the rest of the world another?

yeah but i think the power supply unit (PSU) changes the voltage into a common level so that components are the same across the world. i remember once my friend, in a yr 9 computer studies class destroyed an old mac by changing the switch on the PSU from the 240V setting (what we use in AUS) to something like 150V (or something around there, which i was told is the ammerican system).
