Well, let's take it in the positive light. It wouldn't be a bad color scheme or striping pattern for, perhaps, a barbie scooter. I'm being serious, everything has an application, and if you're happy with your work, that's what matters.

Well here I go.......:run: *submiting to barbie* :beam: na just playin, but yea....that is true, I am happy w/ my work.
(besides the background pink, what does it look like? b/c i put that on last minute as a backdrop. I was very tired, and I am color blind, so it takes me a while to pick color schemes. )

how about a darker shade of blue, or white?

infact i kinda like it. my question is why did you used a bitmap backgroud that simple if you could draw that in flash?

Garret: Don't worry, I can't design in Flash either. I don't know why, I just can't :-\

And I kinda like it too. One thing you can improve upon is the choppiness of the elastic effect. Other than that... good job :)

I agree. That isn't constructive feedback and just plain mean.

As for the design - the problem here is that it's too busy. You used too many different colors, they're all bright and bold and thus all the elements of this piece are "fighting with eachother." The result is an eyesore.

You may have a solid grasp on using photoshop's tools, but I think you need to get a better idea of color/contrast and design concepts.

Oh, and don't take gimmesomemore's advice. Don't give up.

Lost, thank you very much for that feedback. Man, It doesnt look choppy on my side.....I will mess w/ it though.

RenGrl, thank you as well. I am color blind so most of the time I let my wife look first, and most of the time its "AHHHHHH THOSE AWFUL COLORS!!" lol, as you can tell I did'nt consult her this time:chinaman:

I like the idea, I don't like the colors.

I can see that being used for something other than just bouncing a bit, and that potential is what made me like it.

Now just because I asked that, doesn't mean I told him to quit what he was doing! I'm just wondering how he got into it being color blind.

I'm glad you enjoy it garret!

No! I was just wondering how someone who is color blind could get into design. It's not impossible, but it is interesting. Like if I meet a person in a wheel chair and he told me he was a sprinter - I'd be curious to know how that came to be.

I know a color blind person that wants to get into design. He things brown is green, and blue is brown, and red is a weird color to him. It drives me nuts when he doesn't believe me that his colors are all off.... like I wouldn't know or something.

But keep it up... if you get really good at design and are color blind, that is like an extra point there :) It will take A LOT of practice though.
