I want to have my animated gif avatar for my avatar(lol) but it says its to big in pixels. I have try to lower it but it won't work. help? or is it just notpossible?

I changed the size from 80x80 to 50x50 in Adobe ImageReady ( comes bundled with Photoshop )

because photoshop does not support animated gifs... in order to keep the animation, i had to use Image Ready ;)

its not the best footer, to be honest, but it is within the file size and pixel size limitations, if thats what you are asking...

dude, im not sure what the confusion is about.. the rules are clear about file size and physical size... no bigger than 15k and no bigger than 300 x 60, and you will be ok...

there are a few other minor rules, but those two above are the most important. The others involve the restriction of certain flash techniques that are notorius for slowing down or disrupting the forums.. (i.e. Alpha transitions, heavy animations, etc.)

Yeah it does.

i know it supports GIFs (Photoshop 6) but it does not support Animated GIFs..

EDIT: Whoa! I haven't made an animated in about 2 years. So I go into PS7, look for it -- and it's not there!

Well I only had Photoshop elements 2 years ago, so maybe that was it.
