FScommand "exec" in projector file

I am trying to apply the fscommand "exec", "myprogram.exe" to a button in my projector file, but cannot seem to get the external program to run. There has to be something I'm doing wrong, but what? I haven't tried putting the Windows path to the file, but the files are both in the same directory so I ***umed it would know where to find the file.
