I'm with Jubba.. I thought the first one, though pretty good, was lacking. The second one though looks absolutely incredible.
Kitty.. Nightcrawler, Colosus.. kick *****.. they are my favorite characters from the comic.

Are they ever going to have Gambit? I am not a huge follower of the X-men, but Nightcrawler and Gambit are by far the most amazing characters ever created. In anything. Ever. Period. End of sentance.

I don't watch/read/anything xmen. But I've seen the movie, and in my childhood somewhere I gained some knowledge. Never been a huge fan, but god damnit where's Remy! I agree with Jubsta. Gambit and Crawler or nothing!

I am a big fan of the X-Men. Gambit was cut out of the first one for some reason. I don't know why, but they originally planned to have him in there. They planned Jubilee too, but at least they show some of her scenes in the cut scenes on the DVD. I think Remy was cut out before they started filming.
Gambit and Wolverine are my favorites.

wolverine is by far the best and gambit is next IMO.......i so wish they would get to ONSLAUGHT!!! he is my fav xmen villain of all time......too bad it was in the alternate universe.....too many universes gets even me confused sometimes......bah.....
i wonder if they will eventually get to X-Man........the strongest of all mutants and defeator of apocalypse

W00T! another die hard fan. Yeah, there are so many universes to get confused by, but they all rock.
And onslaught is the best... you can't beat someone like him because he is...... **stay tuned folks** (I am not saying).
X-Man is awesome too.

Mr Fantastics Son is so powerful......if i was like him then all my daydreams could come true and we would have magical elves and leprechauns to terrorize the women!!! :bad:
my own universe........mmmm.....
i don't like XMen Uncanny.......do you lost?? the new xmen don't seem to vibe with me......and i don't like spidergirl as well, i guess she is targetted more to female readers......

Uncanny X-Men are alright, not as good as the original, but I still enjoy it. I love the art.
Not TOO TOO big into spiderman, but I get into it. Spider girl I haven't followed.

gotta agree with you on the art.....all comic book art is stunning, i die of envy when i see the art in Marvel and also DC ........Batman, Spiderman, and X-men were my fav comics...superman every now and then .......but the thing about Supes is he is too powerful, even when they try to reduce his powers and he has to go through some battle, he eventually regains strentgh and kicks *****....except that one time when he teamed up with Batman and realized how hard Batman has to work!

My favorite has always been X-Men... and only X-Men. I got into Spidey for a little while, and DareDevil, things like that, but X-Men has always had a place in my heart :)

I could have sworn that the very first comic to come out WAS the "Uncanny Xmen", but looking in google I see that it is not. I wonder why I thought that. Does anyone know if the xmen issue 1 splash page says "uncanny xmen"?
I disagree that Remi is the second best. I might agree with Wolverine being the best. He certainly kicks *** as far as characters go. The best though?.. that's a tough one. I'd probebly go with "Forge". I know he was never a popular character but come on.. he had the coolest power of any of them. He built an "Ultimate Nulifier" from scratch. There isn't a single superhero on the planet except him and Reed Richards who can beat Galactus.
anyway.. I don't care what anyone else says.. he's my fav.

Silver Surfer can beat Galactus!!!! =) *smokes pipe full of majiuanna david is so adamant against*
Reed Richards son ownz everyone, lost probably knows this.....but the son can create his own universes.....imagine that...something out of nothing
i think gambit in terms of cool is second, i can always relate to him as being the loner and with wolverine as well....
maybe you thought uncanny xmen was first isuue because of blue and yellow spandex...... cyclops makes fun of it in the x-men movie...

Silver surfer isn't an earthling and is no longer on earth so I'm still right. :) (alright I forgot about him. There are two other heralds of Glactus who have done a pretty decent job of beating him as well.)
Perhaps Richard's son could do it too. He should have as much power as Galactus if he can create whole universes.
btw, did you ever read the series about the Power's kids and Richard's son? I loved that whole story from beginning to end.

oh.. and who said I had anything against pot?
I am currenly on the wagon, but I've said time and time again, I find nothing offensive as long as you're ok with it. Don't hurt others with your pleasures and it's not an issue. :) I personaly like pot very much, I just can't manage my life, being stoned all the time so I'm choosing not to do it.

the series is really old. I think it came out around the mid 80's. I just found out the name "Power pack". You can see some reviews of the issues here
http://www.chronology.net/default.pl/cited/dw_powerpack/1
Richards son becomes an important part of the plot as the series evolves and I believe it is the FIRST apearance of his powers in a comic book. If you're a fan of the character I recomend looking for them. They are one of the best writen Marvel story arcs I've ever read.
