Thank god most people have cell phones these days because many o times have I got through a voicemail and been like WTF did I just say??

So I hit pound and luckily was able to recompose myself and leave a much smoother or wittier message. I will say that there comes a point in a botched voicemail where you know you've taken your level of suckidness to a new high, but you have to keep going because there is a chance that hitting pound won't save you. And ending a bad message prematurely is like having quick really bad sex, if it's going to be short you better **** well make it good my friends.

I copied this to my myspace site in case some more people want to read how cool I am and add me to your friends lists.

Agreed, thank god for the pound button. Then again, I'll just call them later saying I was not exactly sober. Works in most cases. Unless you left the message in the morning, then she thinks you're an alcoholic.

haha. I just left the message, but sometimes I jsut get a rambling and I sounded a little soft and nuts... so I deleted it and left a much more upbeat hey what's up message.

Coppertop... yeah on most cell voicemails... you can hit # and it will ask you if you are satisfied with the message or if you want to re-record it.

This gets you in some trouble when the person is just acting like their voicemail because they don't want to talk to you atm though.

My voicemail is like this: "Hello? *long pause* Leave a message!" it trips people up almost 90% of the time, even my parents get confused most of the time - its great!

lol, I hate to say it, but that is the most overplayed voicemail/answering machine message ever. I personally know 6 people that do the same thing... different words, but same 'method'.
