button sounds in dreamweaver

Is there a tutorial on having button sounds in dreamweaver without using flash? Probably would use onMouseOver i'm thinking. I've done searches on the topic with not much result. Any thoughts on if it's a good idea and if it works and how to do it?

Won't ever work. If you call a sound from html/javascript it may open windows media player or something.

My old teacher advised having a small flash file hidden and use javascript to set the sound off onMouseOver and it worked well, but I don't have the files anymore, this was over 2 years ago.
