Hi

My new site is still a long way off... need to sort out the preloaders, music and tutorials.. but it is mostly complete...

So any suggestions, comments, complaints - all would be welcome.

http://83.104.129.46/itd/main.aspx (http://83.104.129.46/itd/main.aspx)

I am adding a tutorials section for anyone to add a tutorial to give help to all developers, asp .net flash photoshop sql Office... so if you would like to contribute - you are now able to register... but not submit any yet.

As far as the music is concerned - I will be adding a few tracks and Im also working on getting fscommand to open up a file browse - ie initially so users can choose an mp3 from their own machine.

The only preloader that works is the one on the movie file.

The new site is still on my pc at home and with only a 512k downstream on the adsl, it will be a little slow - the video on dynamic multimedia is only 4mb - compressed with sorrenson - so that should give you an idea of how slow my upsteam is at only 256k..

The boxes on each page are being replaced with ones that have shadows. like the one on the tutorials page..

I have tried to show what flash can do - Im in scotland so not a lot of customers in the small town I live in - a fading box is huge compared to the text only sites we have around here.

Anyway - enough already.... and dont hold back on your comments.

thanks

John

It's looking good. The images scrolling on the bottom left were hard to see they were faded out so much and very small. The drop-down menu worked well. I wanted to click the menu text again and have it go back up if I don't select anything.

Im Droping the links from the bottom left and putting them on the menu. also putting the contact details on the menu. i will then be adding a latest news and other stuff as suggested on Ultrashock.com.

Yeh I have meant to get the menu to close when clicked on... I opened it the other day and didnt want to...

Thanks for your comments...

Another user registered and commented that they did not receive an email..

I have had other people say they have... So anyone registering can you let me know if you get the confirmation email

I am still looking for some more people to register for submitting tutorials.

Also, I thought I would get a few more comments from you guys about how the site is looking....

I know it doesnt look like it, but I work on my own - this isnt a website for a big company

How did you manage the browse dialog for MP3, like to hear about that. Good going.
