Hey all, was just wondering..

What does everyone use to make their flash productions all cartoon like? Do they use Photoshop only? If so, how do they do it? I'm fairly decent with Photoshop, but I want to learn how to make anime looking designed characters like how most people do who make Flash productions.

If anyone can elaborate on this, I'd really appreciate it.

Sure it looks simple, but do they actually hand draw the lighting effects?

Hand draw the shadows/lighting, or does Flash actually have options that do it for you? What are the steps involved?

Well, as far as I can tell Dark, you're out of luck. Those look like they've been drawn by hand. Not to worry though, it's easier than you think. If I get a spare moment, I'll tell you.

yeah thats hand drawn, and I agree its not that hard, just learn the way shadows work and then choose a darker color than the main color and shade in the shadows. Flash's smoothing on the pencil might help you out too for drawing.

I personally would use toonboom or something similar. Which is what i use for my toonz. But flash is fine as well.
