I'm surprised the same place that diagnosed your cat couldn't do anything about it. Or did you buy some testing kit? Is there any type of medicine you can buy in the meantime?

yeh my cat had this once, you need to get a shot or pill from a vet, but i dont think one day will make to much difference

do you have a "Petsmart" out there ? (pet supply super-market)
... open all the time here and you can admin the meds yourself, including injections.

well, we saw it wehn we saw that my cat ate a big piece of string, and it didnt sit well with im of course, and it was hanging out... so i had to pull it gently, because i could tell if it was there for any longer, it wouldnt be good. So i finally got about 2 ft out. and that was it. i noticed that there were white little worms. and thats when i found out. I went to the local pet store and they said that they dont have any over the counter medicine that would work good enough. and i would just have to wait. i hate to see this, i just want to get the poor cat to the vet.

my fiancee used to work in a cattery and she says the best thing is to wait until the vets open. Mind you she does say that if you feed the cat oily fish (tuna, sardines might be best) then the cat might be able to get rid of them....you know...naturally

hope this helps :thumb:
