Hello all. Need a really cool yet basic website for a gaming group on xbox live. With Music and a flash introduction, a homepage with a killer template with our logo and slogan we have, a nice forum, members page, and some cool/neat little tricks you webmasters could pull out of your bag. Challenge us/ join us page, I don't know much about web design or i'd do it all myself. Figured if i put an offer out there of $350.00-$400.00 to build us a great site, maybe some freelancers would/could use the cash or use our site to practice their skills etc. etc. Anyway like i said ill pay anywhere from $350-$400, maybe even a few bucks more if its a great job. my names mike and ill check this post later... if interested reply, thanks cya~

$350 to $400 isn't much of a budget for a "great" job. I have a template that I made a while back for a clan.

http://sod.recongamer.com/

I can modify it and fix it upa bit if you'd like for $400.

Corvette Mike I'd definitely take Digitalosophy up on his offer if I were you. You're not going to get a better deal than what he's offering in my opinion. Generally speaking great sites are 5 figures and average sites are minimum $2,000 unless you have a talented close friend lol.

Just thought I'd put in my $0.02 out there to put things in perspective. I hope everything works out well for you.

Agreed, you're not going to get what you want for less than $1-2k.

Getting an "up-and-coming designer" will get you a website, but you're looking at a very steep learning curve both for you AND them. Personally I agree you should go with Digitalosophy, or save your pennies.
