Hello all!

I have made a movie of a runnning car, and I use a paralax-effect.
Now, after a short while of running, the car shall stop. In this case it means that all the fore- and background objects must stop, since it's them and not the car that's moving.

I could need some advice, because I don't really know how to do this in a somewhat simple manner.

I could make an end-animation on all movieclips, but it would be hard to know when to begin the end-animation, since all the movieclips loops. I would like the stop to be somewhat smooth as well - the idea is that the car get an engine problem and then slowly stops.
Could I somehow control this with an actionscript?
(It would be great to solve the problem with scripting instead of making a single long animation. It's for a banner and I need to do it in several diffrent sizes and so on.)
I have made a simple example so you can see how it's built (I use Flash 2004 MX).

View or download the file at: http://www.moki.se/paralax
(the file was 0.5 K to big to attach :))

Any ideas? I am not so good at actionscript, so please explain in a newbie way. :)

Thanks in advance!

Best regards
Matsu.

just some advice, a lot of people don't have winRAR (or a compatible program) you might want to consider reposting the file as a .zip instead and yes i know the .zip formar isn't that great but it is more popular

Eh, that is sort of exactly what I wanted. I am very grateful, thank you!!!
(And thanks also for the tip about .rar vs .zip).
