Hey, I just got my xbox and Live, and I am gonna buy a game tomorrow.

mdipi or someone else who plays often, which game should I get that maybe you have?

lol yes sir! haha! buy MechAssault or Unreal. Mech is currently the most played game on LIVE. i got Mech, Unreal, and Ghost Recon. I know Fester has Unreal and 3D has Ghost Recon. its up to you! have fun and we will hook up. btw, are you on the East Coast?

Anyways, after work today I'm gonna go pick up some stuff, so before i do I wanna know one more thing.

If I were to buy unreal and another controller right now, could my friend play with me online, or just offline?

I remember in the motorcycle game there were guests, but I didn't know if it would be the same for Unreal.
...Oh, and that's the one I think I'm buying, in case you couldn't tell. :D

hey, do you have to subscribe to xbox live? And do you need to buy special equipment for it?

you should get Xbox live, if you're getting broadband, I fell in love while I played MotoGP.

I liked the cell-shading bit, but I didn't like all the slang. I almost killed myself over it, I think.

Anyways, if you like RPG's or that sort of thing, get Morrowind. It REALLY shows off the specs of the xbox. There is SO much to do.

It'll hold you over till you get Live! (It's been doing that for me.)

For live you need a broadband connection, (if you're splitting it, you need a router/hub and another piece of cat5 cable).

that's the main thing.

after that, all you need is the Live Kit, which is 69.99 Canadian... so... I guess 49 american. It comes with a headset, 2 demos, and most important, a 12 month subscription to Live.

You will not be charged anything, but you have to have your account linked to a major credit card. It's just how it works. Hope this helps.
