starting own design company

hmm... for those who do sell their designs. I'm taking time off from school right now, and I think what I'd like to do in the meantime is start my own web design company - I'd love to do that kind of stuff full time. So I just want to know how do you go about it? how do you get clients, etc... what are the things you must watch out for (contracts, etc..)
I need to find some partners man...

Well... There are alot of things you need to watch out for...

First thing is first... Find your self a nice reliable partner.. Maybe even 2 people.. Not too many though.. Or your profits will shoot down to the ground.. Especcially in the start-up. Try to get two worthy people who enjoy the art or website design and who you can trust.

Clients come and go.. Give out business cards.. Send out your e-mail address with some business information, set up a website and send that around or just go around and tlak to companies and offer them some possible money figures and designs...
