Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a web site. I need some suggestions/constructive critisism on how the site works and ciould work. This site was designed in french but I need general inpput on design ideas. The site address is at http://www.fncsf.ca/nouveau .

Well as for design, I think it could use more work. Since I can't read French, I can't tell if the color scheme matches the theme of your site, that's if it even has a certain theme.
The navigation needs work, I think you can do better than regular text links. How about some buttons with some rollover effects? Get creative, that's the purpose of a flash layout.
Also I noticed that the bottom part slides out, how about making it slide back in then out to display new content so that it will be a transition between each section.
If this was my site, I wouldn't have it sit all the way at the top, I would have it site dead center of the page, change the background to white, the apply a drop shadow around the edges so that the layout looks like it's floating.
Well that's about it, I hope that will give you some ideas. =)

the first problem: it's french (gee, I'm kidding, i'm from quebec city)

i thought the website looks pretty nice :)
but like was EG said i would change the bg to white so theres some contrast.. is that tree the logo?

Yes, that tree is their logo and they don't want to change it! What an ugly thing!

i like those inner shadows in the box!
