And I thought Phil was the person that told me I made irrational decisions when being mad at members and wanting to ban them! :sigh:

I don't have a problem with people that make money off of ebay, I have a wholesalers license. I am 17 and make bank from using ebay, it must be a personal opinion. . .

It is all good bro, just have a more detailed post next time and just don't post ads here 24-7 then it makes you look like an ad spammer. I can totally understand, some people just hate ebayers, but I don't!

By the way I wouldn't mind seeing the ad if you want to post it again!

If dan posted an link to one of his auctions... I wouldn't think it was spam because he comes here primarily for flash/design reasons and helps a lot of people in those areas.

If someone comes here out of nowhere and posts his/her ebay auction - it is spam in my book!

I know it is spam, but phil was a little harsh, don't you think? I thought he deserved a warning instead of his post deleted and a harsh reply!

No disrespect to Phil, he was having a bad day and hates spammers!

:phil: kills spam!

Thank you for your respect Dan.

Here is the link:

It's a .23ct 14k gold diamond princess cut ring...

My relationship went south and I'm trying to get rid of this thing.

If it isn't what you are after, I also have an engagement ring to get rid of, however it would be more in the 1000-1500 range...

as far as the rest of your comments...duly noted...however they could have been said nicer.

as far as contributing, if its ASP or photoshop related...i'm your guy...

I don't have any money and my g/f is a klepto so she steals all her jewelry... but I would definatly buy that if I was going out with someone else.. :P

Its all good... Welcome to the forums... I apologize for the 'not-so'-warm welcome...

:)

I'm in support of Phil in his reaction. I probebly would have had a similar reaction and I'm a very lenient person.

If the name is common to Kirupa, if the person asks and answers Flash related questions here regularly, then any amount of spam is ok in my book. People do have to know though, in no uncertain terms that this is a tech forum and advertisments for business ventures outside of the web/game/media design area, is frowned upon at best. Kirupa pays money for this space. Ok so he doesn't technicaly now.. but only because he did for so long, and built a reputation by doing so. It's his space, and to try to use it for advertising is an abuse of that generosity.

prstudio, despite the fact that you have some support for what you did, it's still poor web edicate. I'm going to go along with the others here and be forgiving in the hopes that it was just a little ignorance which led you to do this, (hell we're all guilty of some ignorance in life) but I hope that you will refrain in the future from using people's stuff for improper purposes, ie spamming forum.

Peace

Well said David! Even if Kirupa doesn't pay for the site anymore - he certainly put a lot of hard work on it and so do the members who provide answers and help.

Do you have any idea how mad someone gets when they are drunk and you give them water!?

Well, they usually don't because they can't taste the difference, but if they knew then you would get you butt kicked! :bad:
