well,
I figured since Ive changed pretty much the whole thing since I started the other post a couple of days ago that I would start a fresh one with all of the changes that Ive made now... let me know if you can see anything that could be better. (the mp3 player is a component mp3 player that I will probably be changing eventually but Id rather get bigger things done first)

It looks good. I dont think the mp3 player's style fits your site. Other than that, nice job!
Oh and pls dont keep posting threads about ur site to keep it on the top, it's kinda annoying.
Keep It UP!

ok well Ive been working on this all day and Im pretty happy with the results so far so check it out and let me know what you think. Let me know anything that can be made better but also I need some input on some things like
What kind of theme of background pictures should I go with? I really cant decide whether to make some tweaks to some stock photos or what....

Gotta loose that cursor. It's straight-up lifted from digitalbrand (http://www.digitalbrand.com.ar/) as is the volume slider, music controls, graphic EQ, and the date and time. I would say it's alright to use elements from another site for inspiration, but these are identical. Since there isn't much to look at besides the elements I just mentioned, your kind of passing off their work as your own, which can get you into trouble if the intent of this site is to showcase and display your own work.

Since I am still learning I have been trying my hardest to duplicate some of the things I find in sites that are really good IMO and then I work on tweaking them so they are unique... The intent of my site is to showcase my own work and I do intend on making changes to some of the stuff but Im kinda of happy that I am able to do a good duplicate type of thing because the end result is me learning how they did it and then making my own spin that is actually mine with the effect...
btw the cursor and the eq effects are packages that Ive found on the internet so DB's stuff isnt 100 % anyways ;)

Cool, I'm glad to hear it. Everyone starts out trying to duplicate what they see as I way of developing their own techniques, so I definitely don't fault you for that. That's exactly how I started. (-:

you know what the craziest thing is with me getting into what I have with web design is I have never been any good at art PERIOD. I didnt think I ever really had a creative bone in my body for drawing and stuff like that but ever since Ive really started getting into photoshop and flash its like opened up something in me I never knew was even there so every day is like a total new experience...

i recommend working on that time/timer on top, it's not well placed, and the colors(on that time/timer) aren't giving the right vibe, the rest of the site is giving. one thing that really annoys me, is the navigation system, the roll over effect goes over the I'explorer's window, you might wanna fix that.
other than i love it :)
good music. and that old radio on the main page!

hello
Well Ive been working hard on the site for the last few days and its still not close to being done yet but has come alot further. I still havent made the rest of the content for the site yet but I have it setup for random backgrounds when you enter the site and when you click on one of the nav buttons. I am still having a couple of known problems that I havent been able to fix yet like my captions going goffy after your drag the news panel but Im working on that... I need everyones feedback on what they think of everything as a whole so far along with ideas on what else I can do for the first window (where you choose to enter the site or client login) because I just made it yesterday and I still feel that its missing something... just let me know.
thanks

No there stock photos (Im just not that good with a camera) But I have done alot of editing work on them. Yea I dont know about the splash page and news... I dont know if they might just be missing someone that is turning people off or if they are truly just crappy... I really like them and have put ALOT of time into making that box morph effect but like I said thats why Im posting I need some people to think about if they need something or if they truly need to go.
thanxs for the praise 3d

I would really advise that you not rip from Drift Lab.
Scott Cook (The maker of Driftlab) is one of the judges of the Internet Tiny Awards, and he is generally a respected designer.

Well truthfully I have never seen driftlab before... the symbol that he and I have both used comes with a free fonts package from fontsforflash and I just used it. Its sucks that he made that because now I really dont want to leave mine the way that it is for fear of being accused of ripping him off but I worked awhile on my menu so I guess I will have to do some tweaking. I appriciate you telling me that.
