favicons, fonts and other fun stuff

Please move this thread if it's in the wrong place.
I am just wondering why a browser like Safari couldn't read certain fonts - I've reset it several times and loaded up my page only to see it not displaying the font which IE and Netscape recognise.
I am also wondering why on Safari and Netscape I can view my favicon but not on IE.
Plus, Netscape displays the exact same favicon but pixellated on one of my sites but not on the other.
Any ideas please?

Not sure why the favicon wont load on IE on your side. I use IE 6 and sites I visit that have favicons dont load at first. After i visit it again, the favicon will appear, maybe a cache thing.

hmmm yeah i've tried erasing all history , cache etc
it's very strange because it's worked for me before on previous sites
