i was wondering if there are any text scrollers (like this (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/scrolltext.htm)), except for static text rather than dynamic? i like the antialiasing of static text, but would like to be able to scroll at the same time. any help would be greatly appreciated :bounce:

Wow.. that is weird, someone who likes anti-aliasing on the text :P We don't get questions like this... ever, it is a nice change.
Well on a dynamic textbox, you can anti-alias it, and actually if it is a weird font, you have to anti-alias it.
In MX click on the text box, open the properties panel (CTRL+F3), then click on the button called "Character" and choose to embed the font outline for all characters.
Tah dah, anti-aliased ;)

Sonmi, take a look at this thread and at the very bottom, I posted a FLA that scrolls static text, maybe it will be of some use to you. =)
