First off I hate unnecessary popup windows and I'm sure others would agree.
Next, I think it's pointless to have a "skip intro" link when all it does is open a popup while the intro continues playing.
As for the design, I think it's ok, I'm not too fond of the color scheme, but I guess it's ok since it's for a tattoo business.
Also the virtual tour moves too fast, I think it would be better if the viewer was given the choice to control it so that they can view each image then move on when the want to.
That's it. =)

I don't think it would be better, it's just my own personal preference. Does it improve the look of your site to have it or not? I say no cause I don't see why you're using it in the first place, it's up to you. =)

well to be honest, we really liked this site. http://www.davidcopperfield.com.
we designed it in 800 x 600, so when people at 1024 see it, the pop up keeps it the same size. if it was on one page, it would be offcentered or atleast have big gaps on all sides...
i dunno.. tell me what you think

well in the case of that davidcopperfield site, you used the pop-up for practical reasons. As I stated above, I hate unnecessary popups, ones that I see serve no purpose. I mean if you're using it so that the viewer can benefit from it then go for it, but if there's no reason then it's pointless.
Another option you can do that will take a more work is give the viewer the choice of whether they want to view it in a popup or standard mode on the page.
That David Copperfield site is pretty cool by the way. =)

well im not doing any additional work on it, other than maybe making all on one page... but i dunno.. i THOUGHT i was being useful to 1024's, but i could be sorely mistaken..

well what some people do is design a site that is aimed towards 800x600 and have it centered horizontally and vertically so that it sits in the dead center of the page. And someone on a higher resolution will see it in the dead center as well.
