I know it probably depends on what platform your using but which is better to use: Zbuffer or Direct3d
My gfx card is a geforce2 mx

Open gl for the most part is outdated - the latest core of direct x has pretty much everything open gl could support. But I do appreciate your input.

geforce2 mx dosent support open gl too good, thats more for its big brothers the Ti cards. Direct3d is more compatible for the geforce 2 mx than open gl.
Though dont think open gl is outdated, many 3d application still use it to great use.
It all depends on what you are using it for?
