Hi I'm doing a web design project for Uni and I'm having trouble finding a good position for this banner text at the top of my page can anyone offer a suggestion.

i dont think the position is the problem, your talking about "blue mountains world hertage" right? I think you need to worry more about the typography of that header, it just seems to be stretched high and not very pleasing, regarding the postioning i would leave it bottom left or maybe try left middle.

Ok I brought it in a scaled it down and made the text whiter + added a drop shadow to contrast off the back image.
what do you reckon.
