what program can i use to edit action scripts??

DOES ANYONE KNOW A PROGRAM I CAN USE TO EDIT FLASH ACTION SCRIPTS?? FOR EXAMPLE EDIT ACTIONS LIKE PLAY() AND STOP() ......... IVE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE ............PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has to be a trick question.......You would use flash mx or flash 5....... You must switch it to expert mode. I think you are in normal mode I think cntrl e does it while you ar ein the actions panel....hold on........okay it is cntrl + shift + e.. That should get you into xpert mode. Then you can type what ever...even a letter to your loved one.
