no emotions.. ?

how come i dont have options to add emotions, smileys as they are otherwise called. other than a message icon, i cant add smilies inside my post

but there used to be a list of smilies on the left hand column. im sure of it, its gone now! LOL

i remember there was a panel on the left where you could choose the smilies you wanted

Theres a personal setting for the type of reply page you use. Either the normal no frills page (which I use) or the easy-format page which gives you buttons to formatting options and common smilies. Im pretty sure this buried in some User CP option somewhere, so you might want to check it out. Alternatively, you can see all the smilies here:

which should be linked at the bottom of the reply page
