I went to this site to participate and converse with colleges instead I found a bunch of cocky self centered kids running this site: If you feel the same way I do there are plenty of other forums that are much more respectible and constructive!

I really wish this WAS NOT the first flash mx forum site I found!

I suggest actionscript.org or flashkit.com to start with for all of you noobies who are as frustrated with these rude people as I am

Personaly I've never had a problem with Kirupa, or any of the regular members here. The only people I've seen mistreated were jerkoffs who had it coming.

btw rynoe, there's no need to post any links for me. I've already seen your posts in other places as the mods here have been watching your actions for some time. There is only one thing that I dislike more than someone who is an ******* to the newbies, and that's someone who deletes his own posts in the hopes to cover up the fact that he's an *******.

Yeah, sorry, from personal experience and stories members that have come here have told me about FlashKit they are pretty rude there a lot. I hear they aren't so inclined to help "newbies" but instead ridicule them. I don't go there often but I have seen some stuff to prove this once and again and I hear stories about it a lot (since witnessed a few times I tend to believe stories).

My own assumption and my fault for making it. I agree wholeheartedly david.

you say that Kirupa "scoffed" at your ideas? I find that extremely hard to believe. This guy has been side by side with me helping out newbies for over 2 years now.

Could it be that he didn't need your submissions and that you took that to be him scoffing at the ideas?

I don't know.. I obviously wasn't privy to that conversation.. but I do know that I've never seen or heard of Kirupa acting that way to anyone, let alone a beginner flasher.

PS - Kirupa members.. please please please stop saying that "that sort of behavior belongs at Flashkit, not here" because the truth is that it doesn't belong anywhere, and really.. just because flashkit has a billion members, you've got to expect a lot of jerks in the ranks. We have ours. I'm sure if you counted up the actual number of helpful caring people at Flashkit.com, you would find that it surpases our number by far. It's just numbers that make it tough to get through that site, nothing more.
Lets not pick a fight with another forum. I've seen that sort of thing go down and it is not a pretty sight.

what sort of action are you looking for?

as for us.. our next action will likely be the same as last night's.. help out some people with Flash, maybe play a vid game, eat, sleep, etc.

I'll admit Rynoe.. I'm bias against you. I respect at least two people who you think are a major problem here. I'll offer you this though. I'm a sociologist. We try as best we can, to look at any situation objectively, and to come to a non-bias reaction to that situation. I do believe that you could convince me that Lostinbeta and Kirupa treated you badly, if you offered up some proof. So this is your thread, do so. You can't simply start a thread saying to basicaly everyone on the forum, "this place sucks, lets all go somewhere else". Provide some proof to back up your statements, and perhaps you'll garner not only a following, away from here, but some respect from myself and others... but you must provide proof of being mistreated, here, in the form of posts which we can verify are made by the person you claim they are made by. Any other proof by you is irrelivant and inadmissible to this forum.

I give you the floor sir. Choose your words wisely and convince me.

I ask that the rest of you remain silent until his evidence is done being presented to us. You've both (Eilse and Lost) had your chance to tell me what a jerk this guy is..
