Acid is pretty straight forward... I use Fuity loops for sequencing, and Pro Tools for editing.

I meant that Sonicfoundry Acid is pretty easy to get the hang of. The included help files pretty much cover everything. I'd reccomend Fruity loops for sampling instead though. It is much more powerful. And for audio editing (putting clips together, EQ, mastering) I use Pro Tools (also highly reccomended).
