Oh yeah! I showed that site to my boss, to show him what flash was capable of. Now he shows it to everyone and makes them change their clock several times to show off the background and how it relates to the time on your system.

It's kinda cool, especially because I used to play in a percussion band and there was a song in it where I had to play the "dunun". Although we just called them "Dums" or possibly "Dumdums" lol :D

Yeah, I play in an african rhythm group too. I play and own my own set of duns as well as a couple of djembes (and I am on my way to putting them together too!). :)

Hey, great! I mostly play the djembé, but I'm good at multiple at african rhytm instruments, as well as more eastern ones like tablas and darboukha... We should meet up and play lol ;)

lol, I'll look you up next time I'm in Belgium :D
Tablas look impossible to me, though I love the sound. I have several Zakir Hussein albums, including a traditional raga duet he does with his dad, Ustad Allah Rakah that blows my mind. I just love the fire of West African music though.

Yeah, indeed. I'm not super at them either, I don't even own them, our group leader does, and he's amazing at them. I just kinda fiddle with them :P And the rest is all kinda similar to the djembé when it comes to technique..
Lemme know when your in Belgium lol :P

Yeah, and if you set your clock to 6 a.m you can see a beautiful sunrise. Try 2 a.m. and check out the moon. Turn your speakers on. Hear the crickets and the drums in the background? Click on the drummers and notice the drumming get louder. Click some of the other links and notice how the sound is closer or farther away, depending on where you are. Click on the percussions link and then the play link and use your keyboard to play all the instruments. That site is phenomenal.

I just read the Dutch version, and it kinda sucks. Translator anyone? If someone knows the creator, I'd be willing to translate a bit of it... Just a thought.
