mediatemple (http://www.mediatemple.net/) is a pretty well known host provider.. and i think it is under $40/month..

I use www.ipowerweb.net to host my domains. They are great. only 7 per month for space.

I get my Cable connectiong from Cogeco, which is sort of like Rogers if you're heard of them. In fact Cogeco is just Rogers... bought by ... Cogeco.

They have dial up packages for about 20 bucks a month. They offer DSL service as well, but depending on where you are price may vary. =)

Ipowerweb.net is really good. I haven't had any problems and their technical service department always is able to answre any of my questions. They are what I use and I recommend them to all of my clients.
