I was wondering the same thing, but I won't be asking for any amount for quite some time.

I was wondering 'cause maybe in a couple of years I'll be offering my services and honestly haven't a clue on what to ask, it seems like this is a reasonable section, or you could try the jobs section way down near the bottom

You mean a money converter?

I was wondering this too but not a money converter (which I don't think they were looking for)
I don't know how much to charge for designs or developments :h:
I'm gonna start looking for clients this week (today in fact) but I don't know what to charge for say a one page html site, two page, five, over 100 page, 2 page site with some flash, an entire flash site, just a design...help
I have a friend who's started his own business and he's got clients already. When I asked him what he was charging he said "I'm making it up of the top of my head" which sounds ok but how does he know if he's undercharging :h:
If this isn't what you mean tanvi, sorry...but I get the feeling this is what kind of what you meant.

does anyone know of the search button at the top of the screen?
when you use it, your answers magically appear...
Just kidding.
:D
do a search on this, it has lots of different answers, in lots of different situations

Call the web developers in your area and get prices from them.

Careful.
That could be considered Price Fixing.
Be very careful when asking how much to charge.

yes, I am.
checking with other web devs in your area, discussing prices to charge clients.
that is the definition of price fixing.

lol Rev. I don't discuss it with them. I act as though I actually want them to do work for me. It's really pretty harmless investigating.

Well I personally wouldn't be concerned in the slightest.

that is different from what you stated above...
be careful what you suggest, or better, how you suggest...
