Hi, ive recently just bought a new mp3 playing cd player so i can hold loads of music on just a couple of cd's but ive ran into a bit of a problem.

When using nero burning rom i cant seem to put the mp3 files in any particular order on the disc and they automatically get sorted alphabetically, or by date etc

Does any body know of any software or any way that i can write a mp3 cd but with the tracks in the order that i want?

Thanks in advance, Chris :h:

change the filenames manually and if there's a number in your ID3 tag (which you can see in winamp or mediaplayer or whatever) delete them manually. i assume it's a rather new mp3 player you bought? then you shouldn't worry at all, the new mp3 players only show that ID3 tag, not the filename, so there's no need to worry

go into properties, and search for the file sorter, then turn off automatic sorting, or something like that. I use to use Nero, but now I just use the one that is already built into win xp:thumb:
