for all the AE users out there, I stumbled upon this tutorial that looks like you could do some real neat things with. I know resourses and tutorials for AE are pretty limited, which is why I posted this. Thought you might want to take a look at.

Sweet. Thanks for the link.
And, I have to agree resources for AE are very limited. It's hard to find anything for people who are new to After Effects. All I can find are advanced tutorials that mean nothing to me. I have been wondering through the help files and such that come with AE, that helps a little.

Thx for the page vladdrac. I might just give it a shot.
@Red: I am running into the same problem. Some people, like i think sharif, just pick it up real fast and i feel like an idiot using AE. I might just break down and buy a book but i dont think so lol

i was going to mention that, but people find those tutorials too hard, that aefreemart.com is probably one of the best ae sites, also creativecow is good.

Yea...ayato webs tuts are a little advanced. He just doesnt say things specific.
And not all of us had Trapcode and Final Effects Completed and Combustion and all those programs he thinks we have...

no, but he shoes us what can be done IF we had them... ;)
and yes he's hard to understand, his english is horrific :P I had a hard time figuring them out, but I still managed, just use common sense :)
and some of his tuts only uses AE, not plugins... (mark, I wrote SOME...)

I spoke to ayato and he is supposed to be coming out with a book. But seems to be a might delay. I'll see if I can find the link to the AE video tuts (not free) that I found a while back.

what I find about ayatos tuts. Is that is you look up the key terms or phrases he uses in the help files you can actually figure out what he is doing. When I first started I was using his tuts and thats how I did it.
The book should be good, but I dont think it will be a beginners book. A bunch of advanced effects I was told.

Eilsoe - you're absolutely right, if we had them, we could do them :). I did use common sense but even after I followed one of his easiest tutorials his one was so much different...

export to quick time or avi. The import into flash using the sorenson video tool. Or is you have Premier you mcan make it a frame by frame. Depending on the video vector will not work you will have to use raster.
