Flash/php/mySQL guestbook

I've spent ages looking for a good flash guestbook tutorial where they would use mysql and php. (My site is on a windows server)
I found two tutorials that looked more or less like they were possible to be completed even by a php/mysql newbie like me.
Just that the other one was in german and the other one (this) (http://www.flash-db.com/Tutorials/guestbook/) was for mx2004, which I haven't got.
So I had to try to make one myself.:-/

I also put my .fla and php files as an attachement, in case anyone is interested.

(oh, and I know that it's a huge mess...but be fair with me, ok? I just got to php and mySQL a little while ago )

Hm... I was bit hasty with posting it.

(it was +30 degrees, the air conditioner at work stopped working and then some bright guy decided to put up a test server right next to me...the fans pointing to me, of course. So i just hit the submit button and went home)

Looks like that the version I put online has loads of bugs in it...haven't yet taken a look what exactly I threw then to the .zip file, but might be that it has some odd mistakes too.

But I'll fix it a bit tomorrow :)

Still hot in here... But managed to fix the biggest bugs.

I updated the source .zip in the first post and also the online working sample.


Edit: I wasn't statisfied with the messy feel in it... So I centralized the code. Now ought to be easier for others trying to make sense of it :thumb:
