Does anyone know of a web site that advertises jobs in Britain (Scotland preferably) that isn't listed below:
www.s1jobs.com
www.cwjobs.co.uk
www.jobserve.com/it/
www.monsterscotland.com (which is s**t by the way)
This is kind of an emergency as I think I'll be back on the dole by Friday. I looked at the Job Seekers/Offers forum and noticed most of them were in the states so any help would be appreciated

I'm located in North_East but a job in Scotland, aberdeen, looks good :)
Client based in Aberdeen are looking for a New Media Designer to join their team. Ideally, you will have 3-4 years commercial experience using mainly Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash, exposure to HTML is a distinct advantage but not essential. You must have a very creative streak in you and the ability to produce consistent designs to tight deadlines from the initial brief through to final delivery. You must also be highly organised and be able to prioritise and take ownership of tasks. On the Flash side, the client are involved in both animations and basic actionscripting so knowledge of these would be good. The above skills are the fundamentals of this post but if you have an understanding of design for print, inc. Quark, Illustrator and Freehand, this would be highly beneficial and any Macromedia Director, Javascript or Cold Fusion would be useful as well. The salary will be in the current market rates to reflect someone with around 3 years commercial experience to work permanently in Aberdeen. Excellent opportunity for the right candidate with a young, dynamic, forward thinking company.
Regards,
JB

Thanks Jamie but I was looking for a position in Central Scotland, Aberdeen is quite far away from here...and it's a dump too.
If someone knows a web address that would be handy...or even if someones heard a rumour about a job coming up soon, that would be handy :thumb:

Or of course, you could have my job. Alright so it's in Kent, but... :P

You'll notice the majority are in England, especially when it comes to sites like Monster.
This is why MonsterScotland.com is c**p, they tend to concentrate on English jobs.
S1jobs for scottish jobs used to be good but it's gone downhill a bit.

Well, there's a Senior Technical Analyst and a Technical Design Lead in Edinburgh if you're into servers and infrastructure. Nothing else up there atm.
There's an Assistant Website Manager for Direct Line in Croydon, but that's probably a bit of a commute...

The direct line one might have fitted the bill but it's in Croydon.
Oh well, thanks anyway Kit
