Hi,

I've just found this place and hope someone here has a minute to answer my question. I am very new to Flash (5) and am currently teaching myself as I try to build a site in Flash.

The first problem I have is I have created a scrolling text box - it's a list of items - and I want the user to be able to click on an item and then a specific frame load that relates to that item.

I'm sure this is possible but at the moment I can only work out how to add a normal html link inside the external text file so when clicking on the link it loads an actual webpage.

I'm sorry if I'm not explaining myself very well - as I said I am very new to all of this.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Sal

I think it would be better to make a srollable text inside a movie clip than loading external text file, though it may increase file size and memory consumption. But it is the fastest and easiest way I guess!
