K people, I went out and finally did the LCD thing. I dropped a pretty penny on a couple of Benq 17 inchers....
I do alot of PS and design work. So far, I don't like LCD.
Should I go back to CTR?
Or, will I become used to LCD?

Oh yeah you blew it big time. Because I'm a friend I'll help you out of this situation. Just send those two bad boys on over.
ok, I love my flat panels. I've been working on them for a few years now and I plan to upgrade soon to bigger flat panels. Yes the colors are not perfect when compared to a crt, but I jsut check things when they are really important. Otherwise I have no problems and love saving the space.

one big: one not big.
Trying to fit 2 21" crt's on a desk is a challenge. Fitting 2 19" flatties is much easier.

less heat produced, less radiation, and better for your eyes. think it may use less electricity as well, in a office my brother told me that compaired to crt's in 2 years time you will pay off your LCD monitors with the savings from your air conditioning.
all round better ergonomics.

there are tons of threads on the net for LCD Vs. CRT.
For web design and rich media development, full colour spectrum representation isn't much of an issue. If, however you also do print work, CRT's offer the widest spectrum of colour and giving you the ability to match colour effectively. Which is why my desk is still labouring two 19inch samsung displays.
