I need some pictures of boxes, but can't find many. I checked stock xchange and google images, got a couple but not what I needed. I'm thinking about buying a digitaql camera jsut to shoot them if I have to, cause I kinda know what I want it to look like. Does anyone have any pics of boxes I could use? thanks

What do you want it to look like?

see attachment

I was thinking if I found a few images I could manipulate them into a form something like that.

DDD: thanks for the links, but I don't want to pay (ie photos.com) at the moment. I know a digital camera would be much mroe expensive than a subscription (I'm assuming, I didn't actually look at the price :P) but I need it for other things anyway, and may not even buy one. I just need boxes, heh. thanks anyway. I'll look at the other link later, it had a lot of links and I didn't wanna mess with it right now.

Can you wait till I get home from school tomorrow? We have similarly sized boxes in our attic that I can take a few shots of for ya. Any specifics on a background?

oh, of course I can wait, thanks for the offer! For the background, I wanted probably as little as possible seen, a flat bg of white would be best I think. I want to do a really minimalistic site with boxes at the bottom, using white for the background of the site, and making the boxes look rather old (if they dont already haha), rather faded looking on the site. BTW if this sounds like a good idea, lemme know, or give any pointers that you think would go well with it. The site is for a client that I started working for a loooong time ago, and I made a site already, but thought maybe I would change it:
here is the original client site: www.mulepack.net
my site: www.passedtime.com/mulepack
they deal with coordinating peoples moves, I am having trouble with the theme since they don't actually do the move, but I think that what I have so far is fairly relevent. thanks again! I can't believe you would take these shots for me :beam: Although I know my thread title suggested it sort of haha.

omg...those donkey sounds.....roflmao.....and the kicking donkey...lol...hold let me look again.......rofl

Your site is like a breathe of freshair. If I may offer one bit of a critique. You have to many random images going on there. There is no focal point. Try to direct the eye a lil bit.

thanks ddd, I appreciate that, I had originally posted this in the critique section a while back and I think people thought that was MY work! It makes me wann DIE when I see it! Wanna know the best part?

when I was hired on for this project, there was another woman (she apparantly is going to do the DB and such, so I am jsut designing... not a problem for me, less work, but I'm sure she's not gonna get it...:sigh: ). Anyway... when we we're discussing what to do with the site...

I think we can use a lot of this
I was dumbfounded. That's pretty mcuh the exact quote. I could not believe anyone would want to use any of that... I asked if she just meant the content, the writing that they had on the page... she meant the pictures... ughhh... I felt sick and dizzy... haha okay maybe not that extreme! Yah I laugh everytime I see it though, and then cringe at the thought that someone thought that was good enough...

anyway, enough of the rant. I am working on the banner, and am trying to get something good here. at the advice of a friend I took the donkey head and set it to a black bg. I'm going to the critiques section with this. thanks though :)

edit: when you said the image were too random, did you jsut mean the banner or are the other nav pics okay? thanks

hey, I forgot about this.
b_heyer, are you ever gonna take pics of those boxes, or what happened... are you even around here anymore?

well thanks anyway :)
