I intend to buy the t41p (as soon as I have the money together), and someone mentioned that it had some tcpa already built in the hardware. I googled for it, but I didn't really find satisfying information.
Does anyone know if, and in which way, the t-series have integrated tcpa chips or something like that, and what would that mean for me?

I don't think it means anything - you can probably turn it off in the BIOS anyway ;) it doesn't stop you from running stuff though, as Thinkpads are very popular with people running Linux.. which has no TCPA at all :)

I hope so.
Else, it would be a strong reason not to buy it. :/
