Wacom tablet too expensive for you?

A knock-off wacom, Graphire3 isn't even that expensive, only $100, and like $80 on ebay.

I have a g2 tho, i cant get the hang of it, its hard being a lefty who turns the paper :(

My Wacom Graphire3 was $100 with a $20 rebate (so for you math whizzes, that's $80 in the end). I don't consider that expensive for what it is.

@Hansel: I'm a righty who turns the paper...lol. It took me a while to adjust to my Wacom. I couldn't imagine being a lefty :hangover:

I don't find it that hard to use my wacom though, but I'm still not that good :P

my wife got the old wacom she used at her job for free when they upgraded. has the old nine-pin plug. problem is, when we moved we packed the stupid thing up and now i can't find the pen for it. anybody know if you can buy just the pen for one of those things?

Are wacoms really that great? I've never used one but I think I might pick one up if they're as cheap as you guys say.
