Has anyone seen the Mexican Air Force footage on the news claiming they have proof of UFO’s ?

I have seen some ads for it and they never show much during the ads.

There are these bright balls….. I think they said 16 of them and they were following them but could never get close to them.

They claim it is finally proof of UFO’s

?????????????????

it was a weather baloon..or was it

The_Vulcan

I don’t know…… But I think it said that they were Air Force pilots and that they were chasing them for some time.

And they don’t release 16 weather balloons at once.

I doubt anywhere would keep 16 weather balloons ready for flight so I don’t see how they could be weather balloon.

I think it said that they were Air Force pilots

I have a tv screen right above my monitor about 1 metre/3 foot back. It's always on and my attention bounces back and forth.....

I'm Multi-tasking.....
Although I think considering some of my Dyslexic posts, my system clock must be off and causing data coruption. :)

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - The Mexican Air Force has released footage of what a UFO expert said were 11 invisible unidentified flying objects picked up by an infrared camera as they whizzed around a surveillance plane.

I guess if there is another species in the galaxy somewhere, then they'll contact us when they think we might have something intresting to say. :alien:

Mexico, specifically mexico city, is a hotspot for this stuff. A lot of UFO specials always seem to have footage from there, some of the more amazing footage as well - often all of this nature. Some of the best UFO footage I remember seeing (on TV - believe it as you will) was from Mexico City where there were about 7 fast moving objects over the horizon on some late afternoon. Pretty wild.

I havent seen the footage for this incident yet, but would like to (I've only heard about it on the radio just this morning).

oh woops, I see now the article posted even says "Mexico has a long history of fanciful UFO sightings, most of which are dismissed by scientists as space debris, missiles, weather balloons, natural weather phenomena or hoaxes." which I guess makes this post fairly redundant :P

-11 unidentified objects
I believe that it is just the air force experimenting with top secret aviation projects...obviously that they don't want people to know about. It would make sense, they don't want to test things during the broad daylight for people to see and with todays stealth technologies a lot of those planes wouldn't show up on radar, just infrared or something similar. They could then release the videos, let everyone speculate its aliens, and then say well, we don't know what to tell you...or something like that.
Yes, though, I do believe that there are other life forms in the universe(s). Have they contacted us, probably. Do they probe us and mess with our minds, probably not, but im very skeptical with things until I see them myself, or have hard proof. Just my opinion. :alien2:

Edit: also, the idea of space debris/meteors is crap. They don't line up that well in the sky, that evenly spaced out as shown in certain images, and dont travel at a constant altitude, at least not which I am aware of. It was something that was under control of something else...nothing like a meteor. And no, not a weather balloon. People don't release 11 at a time, plus they would appear on radar.
btw, if your interested in this stuff, look up the coral castle...

in the close up, they look like weather balloons :P

The_Vulcan
May 12th, 2004, 10:50 AM
Well in this case they were invisible to the naked eye.....

After detecting these things on radar, they switched to infrared and only then could they be seen.

The US wouldn't fly a secret aircraft in a group of 11.

The US wouldn’t bother buzzing some Mexican air force pilot because they have better radars to run tests with.

If the aircraft was detected it would have buzzed out, why would you want even the slightest hint that you may have a secret aircraft.

I am not going to watch the tape or look into this further. If it was real I ma sure it will end up in a documentary and I can judge then. :D

maybe they didnt just for the very reason that because if they know they did, they wouldnt be mistaken for UFOs.

The_Vulcan
May 12th, 2004, 11:03 AM
I am more inclined to believe it is the US next generation of stealth rather than UFO’s.

Now people will be watching Area-51 with infrared camera’s….

So if it was the US, it would have been foolish of them to do it.

You mean rather than aliens? Because now, they are UFOs.

Getting surrounded by 11 unidentified crafts?

senocular
May 12th, 2004, 11:37 AM
There are like 5 "known" species of aliens. Some that look like us, others that are the more typical little and green... at least I think there are green aliens. I know there are the "greys" which fit the typical alien stereotype... but are there green ones? I dont know. Im sure some website has the details. :)

The_Vulcan

Well I think "Fire in the Sky" movie based on a true story had grey aliens....

So we can atleast all agree that this must be a fact. :P

I can be found most nights wandering through corn fields in the hope of finding some crop circles...man I need a good probing, or maybe even a gang probe, by some extra terrestrials. :alien:

they didnt fire bc the jets couldnt even catch up to them, they were moving too fast for the mexicans to fire on them...according to the article

First we need to determine if the Mexican Airforce knows what airplanes look like.

The_Vulcan

@Ken

Only once........ my g/f and I were driving pass a horse racing track, out near the mountains in the back ground a saw these lights moving and then disappear.

I said what the ……. was that !

When we went past another time I saw it again….. I then realized that in the mountains in there is a free way cut into them with bright lights.
Just at that particular angle, with no houses in the away it really looked strange. :D

Although the town my parents moved to a few years ago, there was supposed to be this huge cigar shape object that flew over head. A few hundred people saw it and called it a UFO. (I don’t know about that)

How about you ?

Ive had "little" experieces with unknown lights in the sky but most of which could be explained in some way or another with me believing it.

One, however, I saw which I cant think of any explanation. This was in virginia (usa) where I was driving on some country backroads on my way home from an ex-gf's house. It was late dawn, almost "dark" though still a little bit of light in the sky from the setting sun, which at this point, was below the horizon. There were trees to my left and a field on my right.

Suddenly the field lit up a little bit with a blue color. I leaned forward to look to see what it was and I saw a flare over the field. I didnt see anyone in the field so I thought it was a little weird... that, and after about 20 seconds of looking, the flare wasnt falling to the ground. The fact that it wasnt falling convinced me to stop the car and stare a little bit (maybe it just looked like it wasnt falling because I was moving). This "flare" however, still wasnt falling and was, instead, slowly drifting to the left. Maybe it was windy? No, not really... at this point I couldnt explain it. I wasnt thinking aliens or even UFO at this point; still just thinking flare because it was so bright - a queer anti-gravity flare.

Then, after about 60 seconds or so of staring, it stopped, scaled down to nothing, then reappeared in that position (scaling up back to its initial size) but this time in red and then shot off faster than anything Ive ever seen to the left (shrinking again as it shot off, possibly due to its distance). That direction put it over and behind the trees that were on the left so I kind of lost track of it at that point... that would be the 3 seconds I assumed to persue it until I got scared crapless and sped home.

Was it aliens? I dont know. I think its possible, only because I know of nothing that would behave like that. It simply remains a UFO.

May 14th, 2004, 08:42 AM
All that stuff about meteors is crap! A meteor that was that big and that close to the earth would only give you about 6 seconds from you first spotted it until gravity pulled it round and it smashed into the earth probably removing about a third of the earth's matter, causing immense earthquakes throughout the world and setting off practically every active volcano on earth. Pretty much armaggedon. If it had been 11 meteors you wouldn't be reading this now.

If there were invisible to the naked eye maybe they could've just been weather phenomena. Pockets of hot air have been known to show up on radar before and would definitely show up on infrared.

senocular
May 14th, 2004, 08:47 AM
but would they show on radar too? Some were on the radar, others not. Doesnt radar need a solid body to get a response from?
