Hey guys,
I just switched to Mozilla, on my windows system about 3 weeks ago.
Once I read about Syko's link about IE, I decided to totally get it off my system. So I deleted the files and whatnot, but I know I didn't fully un-install IE, because sometimes I get pop-ups, using the IE program, while I'm on Mozilla!
Could someone tell me how to fully get rid off it.
I tried Add/Remove Progs, but it didn't show up.
Thanks in advance!

only 2 reasons i dont install it is A. because i like to see how my sites look in mozilla and IE and B. For windows update
but when i went to get windows update when i was on mozilla, it said if i chose to get it with a different browser i can just go to windows downloads instead of windows updates.
but i just got on IE and made it ez.

Yeah, don't remove IE all the way... besides, you can't, really, since Everything in Windows uses IE as its basis... when you open folders, your actaully using IE...

Yeah I know that, I was just wondering because I get pop-ups in the IE browser sometimes, I was just wondering if I could stop that, but I'm alright. Thanks :D

Yeah, a Mac would be nice Sif,
but I have abotu 6 computers running Linux and Windows at home, so I don't think I could fit another one in there. Anyway, it would probably just end up as a server of some sort. I like having my central computer with Win2k and Linux Fedora dual-booted, so I can do all my work, and play games on the same machine.
Although I was thinking about getting a Mac Laptop of somesort...
Macromedia OS... Sweet, but I doubt it eh?

Windows Explorer is Internet Explorer.
If you open a folder, and type: http://www.kirupa.com in the "Location" Bar, it pulls up Kirupa.com, and changes the toolbars that you're showing.
Even the desktop is using a piece of IE, which is why you can have that Active Desktop stuff, and put images, and even web-sites on your desktop...

Yeah,
IE uses everything in Windows...
If you got to the task manager, and then into prosseces, and if you close explorer.exe (I believe, in lower case), your whole desktop will disapear! Ohhh! How amazing! Hehe.
Thanks guys
