After *VERY* long work I finally finished my biggest project!
It's a Flash game based on Doom, but I suggest you first view the intro at my site (http://www22.brinkster.com/uachq/movies.asp) .
GET THE GAME NOW!!! (http://www.uachq.cjb.net)

I am really really impressed! This is a really fun game, and I highly urge anyone reading this to try this. I remembered the good ol' doom from about 8 years ago, and this is better than the real thing. I was unable to press my space bar fast enough though. Don't know why, I kept pressing it as fast as I could :( There should be a difficulty setting for newbies such as I!
Great work :)
Cheers!

There's a bug in the SPACEBAR part:
Sometimes when you hit the spacebar fast enough, and then you supposedly WINNING the game, then suddenly instead of continuing the game you go to the "You are dead" screen.
I have no idea why this is happening. I checked the code thousand and one times and I found no foult in it. My guess is that it happens when the script checks whether the player's power is higher than the computer's or not, and at the same time the player is NOT pressing the SPACEBAR. The only solution I found to this is just to try again. It shouldn't happen more than once per game.
If you're having real trouble getting through the SPACEBAR part, there's also a cheat:
Instead of tapping the SPACEBAR, all you need to do is PRESS AND HOLD it. It happens because there's no such feature in Flash "on(KeyRelease <key>){", only "Press".
I'll soon upload it to a mirror site so those with problems be able to download it from another place.
Thanks for the feedback, guys!

The mirror is: http://angelfire.lycos.com/fl5/uactnt/files/damnation_ie1.zip
Since Angelfire doesn't allow "hotlinking" (file download from remote sites) then you'll have to do one of the following:
1. Right-click on the link and "Save Target As..."
2. Use an automatic download manager like Getright or GoZilla.
3. Copy the link, go the an Angelfire website and paste the link in the address bar.

Hey,
That was pretty awesome. I downloaded it while at work and started it up... good thing I had the earphones on. heh... the music is really well done... you have a cross between some matrix music and some evil-forbodding music. I like that a lot.
Nice job on re-creating the whole doom game... it seems like a myst-type version, which is an interesting take.
One other thing.. the trigger happy part was freakin' awesome. I did an airband of that in grade 5, and man did that bring back some memories. *tear*
Laters,
Uth

I am not a great programmer, nor a flash expert,
however I am an excellent hacker.
I have used mozilla and several other ways to access this stuff and IT IS NOT THERE.
Give it up boys, he backed outta it!

As for better than Doom? well I wouldn't go so far as to say that... The original Doom was incredible.. Just incredible.. Back then.. But this new line of stuff they are creating.. Looks good to me..
Keep up the good work.

but the idea and concept were not easy.
If someone think that this was easy to do, I´ll really love to see one hard-to-do game made by this person. Plz, I´ll really like to see it, I love games.

mdipi.. I wasn't giving hima hard time..
I'm giving him the actual feedback game designers like to know..
Tell us what are game is doing.. is it easy.. is it hard.. Boring too lively.. Too much music.. Etc.. Etc..
Game Programmers take alot of criticism but in the end.. it's all for the better of the game..
:) And Mine was constructive Criticism.. I liked the game.. it was fun :)
