Manipulated Photography

Not to be outdone, I've been mucking around with some photographs today, in the hope of coming up with something I can use for my website...

Did you do anything other than add the colour to the window? Looks good so far! Not sure if you're after realism, but if you are, adding orange to the highlights in the room and on the model would be a nice touch.

And if you have manipulated anything else, then amazing job, cuz I can't pick it out. The best manips are the ones that nobody notices. :)

I'm with Al. There should be some orange highlights on the girl and maybe the floor and walls in the room, but other than that its fabulous...

its kinda hard to comment on something when you dont see what the manipulation has done.......if kit would provide a reference that would be much appreciated.......maybe she just made silhuette(how you spell that word :() outline and added the window, who knows!? maybe she changed window colors only.....

i have a feeling kit may have also added the bars on the window... they look VERY straight and aren't very blurry... or maybe that's all just results of the orange thingy in the background

but yeah, add the highlights and it will be even more funky ;)

The original photo is on my home PC, so I can't attach it right now.

I haven't had to do much to it though. As people have already guessed, I added the bars on the window to break up the colour a bit, as it was a bit too overpowering with a large window.

So I took out the glass and trimmed round the person, blurring her a bit since it was a very rough edge. Then made some bars to go over using bits of the current photo. The 'sky' was just a 1 pixel wide cut of another photo with some nice colours, stretched to fit the gap and blurred slightly to blend it...

Actually I was the model for that photo shoot, isn't that right Kit, another one of those moments you regret, but damn I thought I was a good cross dresser (did dan really just say that)! :sure:

Hey Thanks for the Welcome. I do have a larger one of what I edited. I did it real quick and I was too lazy to do anything else on her - so I just cropped what I did and left out what I didn't modify. I'll post up another image here soon. I'm not sure if its much photo manipulation but more typography stuff. Its still cool though.
