After many hours of waiting, the demo is finally available.

UPDATE: The demo is now available for download but the Eidos server is being seriously hammered. Keep checking this page and the forums for download mirrors.

I've played two. Didn't like it too much considering the extensive use of the sewage system and too much hiding. Same with Splinter Cell. I prefer the Max Payne way, run into a room with Dual Ingrams and then see who's the b!tch.

I really liked hitman 2 ... and this demo is a biig biig disappointment for me.
It's awful I tell ya

The menu is full of bugs.. it seems to be a big bug itself. I turned all the graphics down and I still had like ... 10-15 fps (hitman2 ran perfectly well on my machine) and the game does not seem t be any more beautiful than v2 was.

The demo is exactly like a leak. The menu is crappy... kinda half-done. The game is buggy as hell. Objects floating, disappearing, flipping normals.
And the gameplay has not improved at all. The dood runs kinda freaky (or as I could tell at 10fps).

I'm just telling you... I was really disappointed :-/

Just finished off hitman 3 today :) Now I have to play through on a harder mode and go for Silent Assassin. If you beat Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 I suggest playing it through first on medium difficulty, the easy is much easier than hitman 2's "easy mode" (and the "hard" much more hard). This is probably my favorite game series ever, and I love it! Maxtr0sity: Yeah, sounds like the hitman series isn't for you if you aren't into stealth :D

Hmmm, do you think, perhaps, that these are related? :sure:

I haven't played the demo yet, since I'm at home and not at my uni house. But what are your system specs?

Microsoft Windows 98/ME/XP
Pentium 3 450 MHz or equivalent
100% DirectX 8.1 compatable video card with at least 16 megabytes of video memory
128 MB system RAM
100% DirectX 8.1 compatable sound card
800 MB uncompressed free hard drive space
100% Windows 98/ME/XP compatable mouse and keyboard
The minimum system requirements are as follows:

COMPUTER: IBM PC or 100% compatible
OPERATING SYSTEM: Microsoft Windows 98SE/2000/XP (admin rights required)
CPU: Pentium III 800 or Athlon equivalent
RAM: 128 Mb Windows 98SE, 256 Mb Windows 2000/XP
GRAPHICS: 100% DirectX 8.1 compatible 32Mb 3D Accelerated Card
SOUND: Windows -compatible sound card (100% DirectX 8.1 compatible)
CD-ROM: Quad-speed (4x) CD-ROM drive
HARD DRIVE: 2Gb free disk space
INPUT DEVICES: 100% DirectX 8.1 compatible mouse and keyboard

The recommended system requirements are as follows:

CPU: Pentium 4 1.6GHz or Athlon XP equivalent
RAM: 256 Mb
GRAPHICS: 64Mb 3D Card -100% DirectX 9 compatible
SOUND: Windows -compatible sound card (100% DirectX 9 compatible)
CD-ROM: Eight-speed (8x) CD-ROM drive or faster
HARD DRIVE: 2Gb free disk space

Pretty different, wouldn't you say? :sure: As for 'bugs' - what do you mean by 'menu bugs'? Graphical anomalies such as flickering and misalignment? that could be issues with your system/graphics card. Either way, with such higher specs, I'm not entirely sure why you're so surprised that it didn't run as well.
