lets say you have a small metal texture and you want to fill a layer in photshop with that metal texture. How do you do it?:nerd:

well you can do it this way (if your texture repeats): select the element part of your texture, then make it a pattern. Then use a phil :trout: tool and drop in the texture... although you'd needmore proggies to deal with lights and angles. If I am WAY off please post - its reeealy late here. Good Luck.

select that part of the image you would like to fill with either the magic wand (if it's a weird shape) or the rectangle or circle selection marquee
then go to "edit" and "fill" and then choose "from pattern"
That should work!
