I like it. The background pictures, although some may think they don't suit the rest of the site, are great.

Dude the site is great but I expected it to be different. I mean your footer is who I though you were: grr I'm gonna beat you up motha truckah! Your site is soft, just a little shocking to me haha. I know I have said this in your layout thread, but dude, you can do better on that red ball on the index page. Glare or somethin would be nice:). Very nice though

Ya, I still have a lot of work to do. I have been working on the ball. I think i'm going to make it look old, like put some cracks in it and stuff.
Is the animation jerky or anything? I am kind of worrried about that.

When the menu opens up to reveal the image, you might want to speed that up just a little.
There's also a great tutorial for making crystal balls at http://www.thewebmachine.com/ that good look great with a red overlay. Just click on photoshop tutorials, and the crystal tutorial is near the bottom.

Nice site. One thing I guess I was expecting to happen though. That red line underneath the buttons doesn't change width to match the button widths. You know, like an easing width change while it's traveling to the next button? I think I probably would have done that if it were mine. Other than that, cool site.

Good idea, I didn't really think of that.
Thanks!

I have what I think i'm going to use for the content done. It's only on the about page right now.
What do you think?

Coming along nicely, just one small thing.
If your going to have a message along with the loading bar I always decide to choose whether it will display bytesloaded/totalbytes or a percentage loaded, I don't think displaying both is a good idea...one would be enough.
Liking it so far :beam:

Ya, I was having problems with my preloader. I put both pieces of information on there just as a test. I have just forgot to remove it.
Thanks!

It’s Looking good Red……
I love that picture of the coast under flash…..
Although I hope that you will set the “remove menu” button to only appear when the menu is down.
Shouldn’t take you more than a minute to do that. :)

Ya, that is one of the things on my checklist of things to do.
Did you see the clocks in this history section? Past runs backwards, the present is stuck, and future runs foward. I would like to take a minute to toot my own horn for that :beam:

one question though
if that site requires Internet Explorer 6+ then how come I can see it with My Mozilla Firefox?

"This site requires Internet Explorer 6+, or firefox, mozilla, opera, Netscape, and even MyIE2."
That wouldn't fit on the splash, so I shortened it.

Why didn't you just say it needed an HTML renderer :P
I like how the navigation fits so well with the content - nice work. An initial preloader would be good tho', I was staring at blackness for a while hehe

oh man, that misty forest transition rocks!!!! actually all the pictures work great with the transitions. Like said before - i think you can do better on that crystal ball in the first part of the flash, as well as the grass (roots + dirt are :thumb: , but the grass is a little too default photoshop brushy) The outer glow on the cystal makes the pedestal look lame also. Might wanna change the cursor on the button rollovers, It was kind of hard figuring out what was a button and not (ie: the clocks). I'm not a huge fan of the buttons for the about section, or the content area for it.. the white box is just a little plain, maybe try doing something more like the silver bar on the very top and bottom of the header image. Great job so far though, thats just a list of me being anal retentive, but It's probably more helpful than "Looks good!"

ya I really want to work on that "ball on pedestal, grass roots, thing" I'm just not very good at drawing stuff like that.
I was going to ask if anyone would like to give this a shot?

Besides the issues that are already commented here, I`ll say I don`t realy like the header. I think it needs more contrast, and onestly a better ideea.
What`s supposed to be? A landscape with an eye replacing the sun?
I belive you can do better!
