So I was messing around with UNFLUX's technique and came up with this, he was right when he said it was really flexable!!!! Anyone else come up with anything cool?

That is truely funny. I almost don't want to answer, but alas I am not that mean. I used photoshop and you can find out (almost) exactly how to do it here http://www.kirupa.com/photoshop/3dlogos.htm

omg when did this start? I am going to do it now, but its very much apprecitive from Unflux, thanks man :) we need more tutorials on this context of 3d, especially logos and some introduction to "technological advancement" themes.

yeah its a nice tutorial, nic work there 2.

I need help in PS.

When I want to draw like your logo, I draw it with the pencil tool, but how can I smooth the line like in flash mx 2004?
It make it look better smooth.

thank you.

uh, you'd be better off drawing complex logos in Illustrator
and then bringing it into PS after. Bitmap-based apps just
aren't made for drawing that sort of stuff...

yeah, totally agree with ya3. for the logo I posted I started out with illustrator, its just way better for that type of stuff.

Well this is my try at Unflux's tutorial. I played with the blending options a bit more, I think it looks ok. Though it would be very appreciative from any of you guys to give me any suggestions to making it look better or realistic especially somehow to make the edges quite smoother.

looks more beveled than it is 3d, i think you need more perspective.
