logo check for my personal playground

I am creating a sort of portfolio/slash misc site for my misc stuff. It may turn into something else, but I created these logos, just wanted to know ya'll opinions on them.

i like number 2 and that extra splash. it just gives it that extra boost. Not too sure about that border. i was thinking more of a lighter tint of the type colour. also not too sure on the shape of the C, is the cut area curves or shape edged?

looking good though, and a nice name for personal work. :)

lol. ok what i was trying to say was the right side of the C looks more like a curve, was just suggesting maybe make that a hard edge line, like a 90 degree angle.

it looks very nice :) But again i think a change in the letter "c" of the fruit to maybe normal text or somesort of arrangement close to that.

I like it very much, it looks very original. The fact that you kept it simple and a bit playful made it extra nice.

Thanks dude....yeah I tried to keep it colorful and a little playful since that will be the nature of the site. Colorful and playful. I may make a few revisions.

I really dig the idea but I'd like to see what it looks like if the red, green and blue parts were just orangy/yellow.

Yeah I was going to do that but I was going to try to include the "roy g biv" colors into the design for some symbolism.

"Logo Guy"....funny you say that. My business partner calls me that too. I have so many logo requests it is not funny.

I myself admire those who are good at creating logos 'cause it's really hard for me. On the other hand almost every client I've had has had me 'tweak' their logo and I'm great at doing that? (by tweak I mean adding shadows and effects to make 'em "pop" as I like to put it.)

There doesn't seem to be any cohesion between the wording and the image.

the orange as the "c" doesn't read automatically in my view, and that creates two distinct aspects of the logo. Unfortunately, the text treatment isn't strong enough by itself to support such seperation.

perhaps less kerning and a dark outline rather than a light.

I like it, other than it was tough for me to get the C right away. I like the little sploosh of juice as well. It's fun and colorful, but maybe too many colors. I would suggest 3 tops.

lol.....thx bleu, it is in its early stages at the moment and I just drew up something a lil better, but across the board it seems to be appealing to me. Which is cool because I am the creator and client :beam:. comments noted.

The little squirt was nice. Perhaps if you took the logo back down - to a one color treatment - you'd be able to remedy some problems. Then go back up to the full color?

Not sure, I really think it's *almost* there though :D
