I would have searched to see if this had been posted before... but the problem I'm getting is with the search feature. Everytime I try to search it gives me:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 129 bytes) in /home/virtual/site284/fst/var/www/html/forums/search.php on line 810

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 45 bytes) in /home/virtual/site284/fst/var/www/html/forums/includes/functions.php on line 467

have you tried the "Advanced Search" option? See if that gives you anything different.

Yep, it gave me the same result. For some reason they are both working for me now again.

That happens a few times, though I hope it doesn't happen too often :) That problem does occur occassionally, and I mentioned it earlier a few days ago. It also wreaks havoc on threads, and I have to manually repair the DB after that happens. It's only a few second process, so it's no biggie.

Kirupa, thats not good, have you talked to VB about it? Or is it MT's problem?

If its vB then i would complain and see if you can get them to give you some cash back on the boards ;) Be like, they ARE defective :thumb:

It's partially both sides who are responsible for that :)
