Yeah, I know what you mean, the boy one seems kind of dumb.
But the whole girl scream and the disney sex stuff really shocks me!

That was so dumb :sure:
The subliminal message thing is bogus, I mean of course some subliminal message stuff is done, but if you look hard enough you can always make something out of nothing.
The Lion King says "SFX" not "SEX"
The whole thing is dumb..
and why did they call it fact or fiction if they never slated anything as fact of fiction?
:sure:
People have so much time on their hands these days

It looks like BS though. Maybe I'll rent Lion King again sometime, there had to be some sort of PShop work done.

I can vouch for the Disney ones. The old cover for The Little Mermaid did in fact have a ***** (hm...not censored i see) on it. The newer covers are different.
And the Lion King one, i've known for years. In one scene (during some song), all the animals spell out the letters "S" "E" "X" in order; last one as two giraffe heads twisting together.

Holy darn,
I never knew the did that also on the Lion King!
Man this stuff is so new to me, it's incredible what they do.
I heard one where they put in a little Coka Cola image, in between frames in a movie. Like how theres 25 fps in a movie, one of those is a coke add. You don't actually see it, but your brain recognizes it and you like remember it or something... wierd.

One of my teachers once told me that during some film, every 25th frame they added the word "ice cream." There was an ice cream shop right across the street from the theater. After the movie was over, their sales went up 150% or something.
P.S. I'm back ;)

I read a book in the early 70's titled Subliminal Seduction
It tells of the strange stuff we see every day in ads, movies, TV, etc.

Ok, I am so renting Lion King. The last time I saw it was when I was eight, I don't remember much of it either.

haha..that was interesting. I've only heard about the "ghost boy" out of all of those.
I can't say it freaked me out. It's only the "real videos of ghost encounters" and such that scares me to most. I mean, they're suppositly real. (There's this site I went to that had these videos, I'll try to find the link)
The Disney ones were pretty funny. The one I heard was about the priest having a boner during the wedding scene. Not really a subliminal messg. But from what I heard, the artist was about to be fired so he did it as a way to get back as Disney. *Shrug* Go watch if you're bored I guess. :)

The Disney ones are real. I've seen the lion king many times and it says SEX when Simba drops down on that ledge. I think there have beenmany of these things. Imagine a bunch or cartoon artists and animators sitting in some stuffy office. Someime they are bound to do a little bad.
I also remember those PEPSI cans.

Snopes is the place to go for urban legends.

Do you guys remember the fiasco with "The Rescuers"?
It was when I was working at a movie store, we had the shippment come in and then within 2 days we had to ship all the copies that hadn't sold, plus those that were there for rent, back to the main office.
It seams that someone at disney (I think it was disney) put pictures of naked people as posters on walls that you could see through windows and such during one scene. If you look it up on the net it's true.
Also, do you remember Aladin - when someone says "all good teenagers take off your clothes"?
Look it up on the net, it's there too :)

Thanks for the link!
Have you guys heard of the Aladin one?
There's supposibly a naked girl dancing in the corner of some scene! We're watching the movie now at school (Arabian studies) and I'm looking for it!

Hey guys movies at the theatre run at 24fps, and if a company were to splice in an extra frame every 2ft (one frame is about an inch tall) the film would jump the rollers and cause problems...this isnt to say that every so often, about 3 or 4 times in a movie, I didn't slpice in a frame from another movie or ad, was kinda fun to see the people that caught the extra frame.
